Responsibilities
Provide support to assigned attorney(s) and paralegal(s)
Format documents into final form, proofread, copy, scan, mail, etc
Process incoming and outgoing mail
File/e-file documents with courts and/or agencies
Opening/closing files, consistent with department and firm practice
Scheduling conference calls, meetings and travel
Manage data and prepare presentations as needed
Office duties including copying, scanning, faxing, time entry, call edit, filing, etc
Manage and calendar time
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
One year administrative office experience is required
Ability to multitask, paying close attention to detail and coordinating various activities simultaneously under tight schedule
Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical or spelling errors
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage others as needed
Proficient computer skills (strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and internet applications
Ability to work overtime, as needed, to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion
civil litigation: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
One year of experience working in a law firm with heavy volume is preferred
complex litigation: 2 years (Preferred)
