This role involves owning the full hiring lifecycle, shaping company culture, and providing leadership support during rapid growth.

Responsibilities
Own the full hiring lifecycle: postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding
Partner with executives to forecast and prioritize hiring needs
Lead contractor-to-FTE conversions (offers, comp, benefits, compliance)
Standardize onboarding so new hires ramp quickly and consistently
Serve as Curae’s primary HR leader
Manage employee relations, policies, performance processes, and compliance
Oversee payroll, benefits, and external HR vendors
Handle sensitive issues with professionalism and sound judgment
Actively shape Curae’s culture during rapid growth
Design meaningful team-building and engagement initiatives
Support leaders with coaching, feedback, and accountability
Be a trusted, visible partner to employees and leadership
Build lightweight people systems that scale from 70 to 100+ employees
Bring structure without slowing the business
Identify people risks early and address them proactively
Qualification
Required
8–12 years of HR / People Operations experience in a scaling company
Experience managing rapid hiring and contractor-to-FTE transitions
Comfortable being the sole HR leader (for now)
Practical, direct, and trusted—no bureaucracy for its own sake
Preferred
Healthcare call center, SaaS, or financial services background is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
