Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of real-time systems for ML-based ad decisioning
Build low-latency, high-throughput infrastructure for bidding and signal orchestration
Define scalable service boundaries and deployment patterns across the stack
Translate ambiguous product goals into concrete, testable system designs
Mentor other engineers and help shape engineering culture and processes
Ensure systems are observable, resilient, and reproducible in production
Qualification
Required
Experience building distributed systems at scale, ideally in ads, recsys, or real-time domains
Hands-on expertise with low-latency architecture and data infrastructure
Proficiency with compiled languages such as Go, Rust, or Scala
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead zero-to-one technical projects
Strong sense of ownership and ability to balance speed with technical rigor
Preferred
Previous startup experience or a builder mindset is a plus
