Responsibilities
Support Microchip’s disclosures related to Product Material Compliance, Responsible Mineral Sourcing, and Sustainability
Conduct due diligence product and supply-chain reviews in support of PMC disclosure activities and auditing processes by utilizing various data sources (internal systems, external supply chain as well as third-party service providers)
Respond to internal and external customer requests for material compliance information (conduct data analysis and create material declarations)
Research and communicate material compliance requirements and industry best practices for current and new products
Contribute to review and enhancement of policies and processes to ensure product compliance
Prepare and maintain custom reports and interactive dashboards
Maintain records to support safety and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or Environmental Engineering
Exceptional knowledge of global environmental compliance directives, regulations, and standards, including EU ROHS, WEEE, REACH, WFD (SCIP), PROP 65, and conflict minerals
0 - 2.5 years of experience in Product Material Compliance
0 - 2.5 years of experience in Semiconductor Industry
Ability to work within all levels of organization to ensure compliance
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred
Masters Degree a plus
