Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using AP100 or similar G-code platforms
Support machining operations on the floor—troubleshoot programs, tooling, setups, and process issues in real time
Improve manufacturability of parts through toolpath optimization, fixture design, and cycle time reduction
Collaborate with production teams to resolve engineering and machining challenges quickly and effectively
Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen events to drive Lean manufacturing initiatives
Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation including work instructions, routings, and program standards
Monitor productivity, quality, and throughput metrics to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure on-time project delivery for both internal and external customers
Train and mentor operators and team members on CNC programming and best practices
Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering
10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong background in project management and Lean manufacturing
Experience with G-Code / CNC programming (AP100 or similar)
Experience with SolidWorks for prints, models, and manufacturability
Background in sheet metal, machining, punch press, die casting, injection molding, or plastics
Proactive, approachable leader with strong communication skills
