Responsibilities
Own key parts of the monthly close: journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis across multiple active projects
Review and validate project-level transactions to ensure alignment with budgets and financial policy
Partner with the Controller on P&L and balance sheet reviews, preparing internal reporting packages for leadership and investors
Support Treasury with cash management, AP/AR oversight, and loan activity tracking
Help document and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and close processes as the business scales
Act as the first line of defense for accuracy—catching errors before they reach review, and tightening each close cycle
Contribute to board and lender reporting with concise schedules, clean tie-outs, and supporting documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of progressive and diverse accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close mechanics
Detail-driven with curiosity to understand project-level transactions
Multi-entity/intercompany accounting
Hands-on with reconciliations, journal entries, and process improvement
Comfortable in a fast-paced, builder-style environment—able to prioritize without rigid systems
