Responsibilities
Prepare and reconcile intercompany entries
Mark to market firm investments on a monthly basis, prepare journal entries, and post to the ledger
Post payroll journals, 401k and health allocation
Prepare and distribute invoices for account receivables and post journals
Prepare and post accrued expense journals
Reconcile, research and resolve differences and book appropriate journal entries
Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet accounts
Assist with regulatory and year end audit examinations
Assist with process improvement and best practices initiatives
Assist with ad hoc projects
Create and update desk procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 1 Years Accounting experience
Must possess a good understanding of general accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational skills as well as a strong sense of time management and detail for all completed work
Preferred
Working knowledge of GMI, Sun GL System and/or Oracle a plus
