Responsibilities

Lead and manage Sage X3 financial implementation projects, including multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-legislation environments

Oversee requirements gathering, process analysis, and design for core financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, and Financial Reporting)

Configure and customize Sage X3 Finance features to align with client business needs, including workflows, reporting, integrations, and compliance with local regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, VAT)

Mentor and coach junior consultants, lead workstreams, and ensure team adherence to best practices and project timelines

Conduct client workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing to drive adoption and minimize post-go-live issues

Identify opportunities for process improvements, additional services, and upselling within client engagements

Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and risks; prepare proposals, estimates, and status reports

Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure long-term client satisfaction

Stay current with Sage X3 updates, certifications, and industry trends to deliver cutting-edge solutions

Collaborate with technical teams for customizations, integrations (e.g., APIs, EDI), and third-party tools

Required

8+ years of hands-on experience with Sage X3 ERP, with a strong focus on the Finance module

Proven track record leading Sage X3 financial implementations (full lifecycle preferred)

Deep expertise in Sage X3 Finance features, including multi-entity consolidation, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, budgeting, and advanced reporting

Experience managing teams or workstreams in consulting environments

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and compliance requirements across industries (manufacturing, distribution, or services preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field

Sage X3 Financial Certification (or willingness to obtain/maintain)

Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
