Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to pre-surgical testing patients
Conduct history and physical assessments
Work closely with surgical, anesthesia, and medical staff to optimize patients for the Operating Room

Qualification

NYS RN licenseNYS NP licenseNational NP certificationBLS/ACLS certificationClinical experienceEngagement skillsResource managementEffective communicationAdaptabilityDecision making

Required

Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
Related National NP certification
BLS/ ACLS certification
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiac, ICU, or oncology surgery
Graduate from an accredited PA program, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
NCCPA certification
Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in cardiac, ICU, or oncology surgery
BLS/ACLS certification
