Learning & Development Consultant
Solomon Page is a specialty niche provider of staffing and executive search solutions. They are seeking a Learning & Development Consultant to design and deliver learning solutions for their Brand Consulting Group and early career population, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and a high-quality learner experience.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary learning and development partner to Brand Consulting and other company clients
Consult with senior leaders and HR partners to diagnose capability needs and co-create learning solutions
Translate business strategy into learning priorities, roadmaps, and integrated development plans
Build trust and collaborate closely with Brand Consulting culture and engagement to team to ensure development is aligned with culture and engagement plans, methods, and goals
Build strong, trusted relationships with client leaders and stakeholders
Own the enterprise early career development strategy, including onboarding, rotational programs, early career learning programs, and readiness initiatives
Design scalable development experiences that support performance, engagement, and retention of early career talent
Partner with Talent Acquisition, Campus Programs, and HR to align early career learning with workforce planning and career progression
Ensure early career programs promote inclusion, belonging, and equitable access to development
Lead the design and execution of end-to-end learning solutions for owned client groups and early career, from needs analysis through evaluation
Oversee blended learning approaches that combine classroom, virtual, digital, and experiential learning
Ensure solutions align with adult learning principles, organizational values, and leadership expectations
Provide guidance and quality oversight across instructional design and program delivery
Facilitate or co-facilitate learning experiences for early career and client-group audiences as needed
Set standards for facilitation quality, learner engagement, and inclusive learning environments
Coach and develop facilitators and learning consultants to elevate delivery capability
Ensure consistent learner experience across programs and facilitators
Lead, coach, and develop a team of learning professionals supporting client and early career initiatives
Establish clear goals, priorities, and development plans aligned to business and learning outcomes
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Support talent planning and succession within the learning team
Define success metrics and KPIs for client and early career learning programs
Leverage learner data, feedback, and business insights to evaluate effectiveness and inform enhancements
Communicate impact, outcomes, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Continuously evolve learning offerings based on organizational needs and best practices
Lead, coach, and develop a two-person team of learning professionals responsible for solution design and delivery
Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans aligned to business and learning outcomes
Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
Support talent planning and succession within the learning function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
8–10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness
Demonstrated experience leading client-facing learning portfolios or consulting-based L&D models
Experience designing and delivering early career or early talent development programs
Strong facilitation experience with professional and leadership audiences
Proven people leadership and team development experience
Preferred
Experience working in matrixed or complex organizations
Strong consulting skills, including needs analysis and stakeholder influence
Experience with leadership development frameworks and career pathways
Data-informed approach to learning measurement and impact
