Sr. Quality Engineer
L'Oréal is a leading beauty company committed to innovation and quality. They are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to ensure product compliance with quality standards, develop training for the Open Manufacturing Americas team, and manage quality initiatives and audits.

Responsibilities
Ensure product compliance with L’Oreal’s Standard Procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
Develop and provide training to OMA Team (Open Manufacturing Americas) and our CM (Contract Manufacturers)
Issue Nonconformance for Consumer Complaints and follow Root Cause Analysis/Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with the vendor and internal stakeholders
Help animate and drive Quality Culture initiatives and focus on quality mindset activities within OMA as well as vendors
Management of Partnership Assessment with TOP CMs
Gatekeeper for Change Control for OMA Quality
Actively Participate in Regulatory activities such as Annual Product Reviews, Quality Charter/Quality Agreement etc
Work with subcontractors (CM) on status of Quality nonconformities, support investigations and problem solving. Assess risk which may impact product safety or compliance
Provide support for Contract Manufacturer and Packing Supplier Quality Audits & Internal Audits
Ensure that CAPAs are initiated, assigned, thoroughly investigated, documented and effectively resolved when deficiencies are found during development, testing, manufacturing. Request waivers when necessary
Assist Quality Manager on new CM on-boarding process
Train/Coach/Assist current & new CMs to ensure understanding of quality requirements
Present Quality results in OMA Huddles
Create and modify quality procedures
Tracking and management of all Quality KPIs (Quality Performance, Consumer Complaint, Blue Book Tracker)
Management and evolutions of Power BI for Quality KPI Tracking
Support the onboarding of new acquisition
Driving new technical and IT solutions for Quality team to improve ways of working and management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, Science or Engineering
+3 Years experience in Industrial Quality, preferably within cosmetics and consumer goods industry
Knowledge of ISO Standards 9001 and GMP Standards (ISO 22716)
Cosmetic Regulation (Labeling Regulation for Cosmetics), 21 CFR 210 & 21 CFR 211
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
SAP Experience
Computer Skills with Microsoft (Excel, word, PowerBI, etc…)
Strong attention to detail and desire to follow procedures
Good communication and organization skills
Ability to interpret data and statistics
Quality Assurance, Quality Controls and Quality System
Knowledge on OTC products
