Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers focused on automation equipment performance
Drive product and process improvements aligned with Insulet’s core objectives: Best Quality, Highest Efficiency, Superior Customer Service, Lowest Cost
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with cGMP and FDA regulations
Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions
Monitor and report on yield and equipment uptime; lead efforts to achieve or exceed KPI targets
Performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with 10+ years in a regulated industry with at least 1+ year(s) of experience managing people
OR M.S. in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management (or equivalent) with 8+ years' experience with at least 1+ year(s) of experience managing people
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and data analysis (Minitab/JMP)
SolidWorks expertise and strong drafting skills
Hands-on troubleshooting of semi- and fully automated equipment
Strong command of structured problem-solving methodologies
Excellent project management and communication skills
Team Development: Build capability through coaching and mentoring
Strategic Thinking: Align engineering priorities with business objectives
Influence & Collaboration: Drive cross-functional improvements and resolve conflicts constructively
Accountability: Set clear expectations and deliver results
Change Leadership: Champion continuous improvement and adaptability
