This role requires expertise in US Federal Government cost accounting, and the successful candidate will assist the Federal Controller in managing costs and ensuring compliance with GAAP and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist the Federal Controller with ensuring all costs are accumulated in the Deltek Costpoint ledger system as per CAS

Provide cost impact analysis of potential CAS changes

Ensure that revenue recognition is in accordance with GAAP

Manage tasks in a multi-segment and multi-system environment

Understand and reconcile the Corporate general ledger

Have a thorough understanding of intercompany accounting

Participate in audits and own documentation for all processes aligned to the role

Work independently and proactively obtain data needed from internal and external sources to complete requests

Work cross functionally with Finance, IT, Quote to Cash, Procurement, Pricing, Contracts and Legal

Communicate clearly and concisely
