Responsibilities

Manage a small but growing team of software development professionals

Provide leadership to the team by providing technical guidance, mentoring junior team members and providing opportunities for professional and technical growth

Build a high-performing team by quickly delivering applications to automate business processes

Develop business solutions using low-code tools and forms builders

Create and support business process automation projects across a variety of business departments at HDC

Understand a wide range of technologies and software development techniques in order to deliver quick, creative solutions that are easy to maintain

Oversee the maintenance of existing custom web applications in VB.Net and C#.Net and plan for their migration to the latest frameworks

Understand methods and techniques that facilitate the flow of data between business applications and integrate these features into existing and newly developed applications

Present solutions and implementation plans to the various HDC business groups and senior and executive leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field; 10+ years of professional experience in software development; or a satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the qualification

Hands-on experience in web development technologies, including .NET, SQL, Javascript

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders and participants, including executive management

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
