Underwrite new accounts based on underwriting guidelines and authority granted

Manage production to achieve premium goals

Effectively communicate information to both internal and external customers to ensure our standards of excellence are maintained

Develop, market, maintain, and enhance existing broker relationships

Required

3 years preferred underwriting or compliance experience in P&C Insurance, preferably for an E&S carrier

Demonstrated knowledge of commercial property underwriting, risk and agency management preferred

Strong interpersonal and team building skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain strong internal and external business relationships

Well organized with attention to detail

The ideal candidate should live in one of the following locations: Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, or Minnesota

B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited College or University

CPCU, AU or CIC, continuing insurance education desired
