Responsibilities

Sets up accounting units in district data systems; reports expenditures; approves payroll for the department
Provides detailed information for monthly budget amendment
Monitors district data systems
Serves as office manager, and provides support to supervisor
Handles cash drawdowns, cash reconciliation, and agency expense reporting
Maintains and stays current with knowledge of district data systems
Possess basic knowledge of finance, including accounts payable, budget, procurement, payroll, accounting, special revenue, property control, general ledger, all subsystems, and year-end procedures
Prepares accounting and fiscal reports, statements, summaries, and journal entries; meets deadlines
Reconciles and balances financial statements and accounting records
Serves as a liaison between schools and the Business Division
Deals with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues
Balances various job responsibilities/duties and is detail-oriented
Performs any other duties as assigned
