Responsibilities

Participate in the execution of US Federal Affairs and WW GA&P Supply Chain Operations and Risk (SCOR) team strategy and activities
Monitor legislative environment, with an emphasis on health care and manufacturing policy, and conduct research in support of GA&P goals and objectives
Attend and compile summaries of congressional hearings, stakeholder engagements and/or events as requested
Assist with projects, including conducting research and drafting presentations
Create and maintain communications materials for internal and external audiences, including coalitions and advocacy groups/trade associations
Assist with the preparation of leadership visits to Washington, DC, including compiling briefing books and background materials
Showcase your achievements and deliverables with a final presentation near the conclusion of your internship
Daily responsibilities will vary depending on the congressional calendar and the needs of the Federal Affairs and SCOR teams

Required

Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5
Authorized to work in the US and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., FI, H1-B status)
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College program
Must be available to work full-time (40 hrs./week) for the entire duration of an 8-week internship between June and August
Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship

Preferred

Enrolled in a degree program with an interest in healthcare, international/government affairs, geopolitics, supply chain operations & risk
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate efficiently and effectively
Demonstrated commitment to inclusion in the workplace
Efficient, organized, and able to handle short timelines in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with international or US health systems

Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan.
Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year.
Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
