Responsibilities
Manage Front Desk, Greet, take messages and ensure all who enter feel welcomed
Using a multi-line switchboard, answers and appropriately routes internal and external calls
Receives and greets visitors and directs them to their proper destination
Responds to routine inquiries from the public and refers to non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests and other inquiries or complaints to appropriate staff
Distribute Metro-Cards
Taking attendance and collecting attendance documentation, as needed
Qualification
Required
3 years of front desk experience with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to multi-task
HS/GED equivalent minimum requirement
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
Knowledge of telephone techniques and etiquette
Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system, computer and other standard office equipment
Handle a high volume of calls with courtesy, speed, and accuracy
Maintain effective working relationships with staff; communicate with the public in a courteous professional manner using tact and patience
Work independently with general supervision; understand and carry out written and oral instructions
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel, word, etc
Participate in required professional development and trainings as assigned or approved for professional job growth
