In this role, you will support the financial health of UPMC by assisting with accounting and analytical activities that ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and contribute to the preparation of financial statements and budgets.

Responsibilities
Assist in information gathering for various required management reports
Create accounting analytics for internal and external reporting requirements
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for designated accounts. Propose correcting entries
Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions
Assist in administrative tasks or special projects as needed
Prepare and post basic monthly journal entries
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related business field required
OR High School Diploma/GED and two years of related work experience
Preferred
Microsoft Office spreadsheet application and PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred
