Responsibilities
Independently evaluate financial and business risks, primarily of obligors within the Cash Flow Financing business sector
Prepare high quality rating reports for new lending opportunities as well as for existing portfolio obligors
Present analyses for approval to the Team leader and/or the Head of Risk Control-Risk Rating Americas, as determined by the validity amount
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the SFS rating methodologies and how they relate to the cash flow financing analysis
Aid in the ongoing monitoring of the creditworthiness of portfolio obligors on a timely basis
Develop strong relationships with Risk Management to improve and maintain an efficient rating process
Judiciously recommend and approve obligor ratings within rating authority, once delegated
Actively cross-train, amongst the various rating disciplines, in order to assist in other areas if called upon to do so
Qualification
Required
8+ years of relevant work experience within the credit/rating analysis field
Minimum 4-year college degree in either Finance, Accounting or Economics
Preferred
Deliver persuasive presentations and articulate financial insights with confidence
Stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate seamlessly with teams and build strong relationships
Analyze financial models and translate data into actionable recommendations
Leverage technical expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word for financial reporting
Craft clear, well-structured reports and analyses, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all written communication
