Product Design
Responsibilities
Assist with HVAC load calculations
Size and layout of airside systems
Learn the different mechanical system types and where to best apply them
Assist on the technical design, including lighting calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit calculations, and power/lighting layouts
Assist on the technical design, including all plumbing system calculations and layouts
Learn and apply best practice engineering methods
Learn and apply the process and procedures for coordination with Architecture, Structural, and Civil disciplines
Learn to develop and model 3D systems in Revit
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Basic knowledge in AutoCAD
Basic knowledge in Revit
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere
Ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently as well as with various disciplines and types of people
Committed to being an effective, contributing team player
Preferred
0-1 years of experience in the engineering field
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam preparation
Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license
Willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment
