Responsibilities
Contributes to the completion of project deliverables and is accountable for the development, quality assurance, and support of the solution they deliver
Follows business requirements, implements a set of specifications by coding, compiling and testing the application
Work closely with the development team and business analysts to ensure code quality, accuracy and correct business solutions have been developed
Develop unit test cases/criteria to verify all functionality is working correctly
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of statistical models including KNN classification, Bayesian algorithms etc
Knowledge of Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
Working knowledge of Python / R languages
Familiarity with data integration and transformation tools including but not limited to Fivetran, Snowflake, and dbt
Familiarity with Azure GIT Repos and branching mechanism
Familiarity with iterative development methodologies
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly
Financial Services industry knowledge
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
1–2 years of programming experience through coursework, academic projects, or relevant hands-on experience
Strong academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered
Preferred
Exposure to Jupyter Notebooks, Azure Data bricks and Azure Data Fabric is a plus
Working knowledge of PowerBI is a plus
Exposure to the Azure cloud platform and its core services
