The Software Engineer Intern will support the Energy Controls project, assisting in the development of control algorithms and providing test support for various functions, while gaining practical experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in development of control algorithms and interfaces

Provide test support for all functions

Support build out of diagnostic dashboards to monitor charger and controller performance in Grafana

Qualification

Required

Controls development

Basic electrical architecture and networking principles

API development

Basic control theory as it may relate to charging systems including DC Fast Chargers, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and other on-site peripherals

Experience with Python, Embedded Linux, Modbus TCP and AWS IoT Core will be advantageous

Preferred

Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or STEM equivalent
