Freeport LNG Development, L.P. is a leader in the LNG industry, seeking a Senior Maintenance Cost Controls Analyst to support the Operations Cost & Planning Supervisor and Maintenance Department leadership. The role involves monitoring costs, assisting in budget creation, and managing procurement processes for the Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities

Provide monthly deliverables to Maintenance Department management to convey the monthly actual costs vs budget performance of the department

Assist FP&A personnel in understanding the monthly actual costs vs budget performance of the Maintenance Department during the FP&A monthly process to update the Maintenance Department's full-year forecast

Coordinate and lead a monthly meeting with Maintenance Department management to discuss monthly actual costs vs budget performance

Assist Maintenance Department management in creating WBSs to track the costs of Maintenance events and projects, and then prepare monthly reports to track the associated costs of those events and projects

Support the annual budget creation process for the Maintenance Department, interacting with Maintenance management and FP&A staff

Participate in ad hoc projects and cost information queries from Maintenance management as requested

Input purchase requisitions for the Maintenance Department, ensuring compliance with approval processes and documentation requirements

Communicate with vendors to ensure accurate documentation is submitted according to contract and FLNG policy (considering time & materials, fixed fee, etc.)

Review and process Maintenance Department vendor invoices, ensuring proper supporting documentation, accuracy, and coding

Monitor the status of Maintenance Department purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services

Required

Valid driver's license and TWIC card

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

10+ years of Operations accounting/FP&A experience

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Experience with SAP (preferably in maintenance and procurement modules)

Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

Technically proficient Cost Controls

Good working knowledge of SAP

Excellent working knowledge of Primavera (P6) scheduling software

Cost, Schedule, and progress reporting

Excellent interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with organizational skills to enable planning, execution, and implementation in a timely manner

Able to achieve results through diverse cross-functional teams

Proficient in data management and technical report/procedure writing

Excellent communication with all levels of the organization

Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility
