Crawford County Clinic is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Intern to provide technical support for hospital staff. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment, and supporting Electronic Health Record systems under supervision.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for hospital staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues

Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals

Support Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other clinical applications under supervision

Help manage user accounts, access permissions, and password resets in accordance with security and HIPAA requirements

Assist with routine IT maintenance, updates, and inventory tracking

Respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner

Support cybersecurity best practices, including device security and data protection

Assist with documentation of IT procedures, workflows, and troubleshooting guides

Collaborate with IT staff on special projects and technology upgrades as assigned
