Environmental Project Manager

Responsibilities

Manage environmental redevelopment and Brownfield projects from proposal through completion
Serve as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong client relationships
Lead project teams delivering environmental investigations, remediation support, and regulatory coordination
Develop scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and cost tracking to ensure project profitability
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders at the local, state, and federal level
Support redevelopment projects involving large scale commercial and mixed use construction
Oversee preparation and quality control of technical reports and regulatory submittals
Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client pursuits
Mentor and guide junior staff and support team development

Required

10 to 15 years of professional experience in environmental consulting
Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven ability to lead teams and deliver high quality work in a fast paced environment
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Client focused mindset with experience supporting or growing client relationships

Preferred

Professional registration in Pennsylvania and or Delaware
OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER training
Experience working directly with regulatory agencies
Willingness to travel occasionally within the Mid Atlantic region
Valid driver's license
Pennsylvania Act 2 and Delaware HSCA regulatory frameworks
Brownfields redevelopment and environmentally impaired properties
Environmental site assessments and remediation support
Construction phase environmental oversight and coordination
Familiarity with construction processes and redevelopment timelines
