Business Intelligence Intermediate
St. Elizabeth Healthcare has been a trusted provider of quality care for over 160 years. The Business Intelligence Engineer Intermediate will support data governance by formulating system scope and objectives, developing information systems, and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities
Participates in projects as assigned by manager/director
Works under supervision to complete work in established timelines
Utilizes project management methodology to assist in developing project tasks and work closely with project manager to resolve issues, remove barriers and avoid delays and surprises
Create and configure interfaces to provide desired solutions, i.e., dashboards, data analytics, and report generation
Develop training and education on optimum use of end-user solutions
Serves as a senior subject matter expert on content, processes, and procedures associated with the product
Maintains in-depth knowledge of the product throughout the systems lifecycle
Maintains in-depth knowledge and expertise in the technical tools used to support the system
Documents and leads resolution for data quality issues
Participates and documents Data definition thru various project lifecycle
Participate in meetings with the customer/stakeholder to evaluate, plan, and develop/re-engineer current or new reports
Participates in the interdisciplinary discussion and brainstorming events to develop new functionality/workflows
Tests reports and reporting functionality in coordination with end users to assure data quality
Document internal procedures
Mentors less experienced team members in system support, administration methods, processes, and implementation of those methods
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree
Associate degree requirement can be waived if the candidate has four or more years of certification and experience supporting the applicable application
Experience with reporting/ BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Sisense, Looker, Qlik)
In depth understanding of Database management systems, OLAP, ETL, Data Lake
Data Modelling (Kimball / Inmon )
Data Cleansing/Normalization
Data Visualization (Charts, Graphs, Scatter chart)
Four years or more years of related information systems experience
