Mood is a cannabis brand focused on providing premium, federally legal cannabis products. They are seeking a Social Media Intern to create and manage engaging content across various platforms, while also identifying trends and collaborating with influencers.

Retail

Responsibilities

Shoot, create, edit, and publish two SMM posts per day to publish on TikTok and IG
Help build and maintain secondary accounts on YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, BlueSky, Threads, Substack, and Twitch
Research and connect with brands and influencers for collaborations and growth opportunities
Research, collect, and organize content for reposting and sharing. Identify trends for Mood to capitalize on
Pitch creative content ideas to enhance our calendar and content output, informed by customer demographics, existing analytics, and brand objectives
Help produce weekly analytics reports on the performance of our accounts

Required

Experienced with shooting, lighting, and editing clean, high-quality content for social media
Experienced with social media planning, scheduling, and analytics software
21+ and comfortable working with cannabis products and cannabis-related content
A strong understanding of major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
Ability to spot trends and apply them strategically
Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma, etc.)
Video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
Experience filming and recording content with attention to lighting, framing, and audio
Photography and/or videography skills
Motion graphics or animation experience
Experience managing or growing personal or brand social media accounts
Familiarity with social media analytics tools and performance metrics
Strong written communication for captions, hooks, and short copy
Understanding of brand voice, audience targeting, and storytelling
Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable with deadlines
Open to feedback and rapid iteration
