10+ years expThe Judge Group is seeking a seasoned Electrical Department Manager to lead a Cincinnati-based electrical engineering team. This role is critical to the success of delivering Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects across industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers working exclusively within EPC project frameworks
Manage electrical design execution for industrial facilities, ensuring alignment with EPC delivery standards and client expectations
Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and process engineering leads to ensure fully integrated EPC project execution
Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations in compliance with NEC, NFPA, and project-specific codes
Develop electrical scopes, budgets, and schedules as part of comprehensive EPC proposals and execution plans
Support business development efforts, including technical presentations and proposal strategy
Serve as the primary electrical technical lead for clients, ensuring consistent communication and alignment throughout the EPC lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required); PE license strongly preferred
Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within an EPC firm or project environment
Demonstrated success managing electrical design in EPC projects, including design-build and fast-track delivery models
Expertise in power distribution, lighting, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial applications
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Preferred
Electrical design for industrial facilities such as food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical plants
Familiarity with CPG, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing markets
Experience with project management tools and methodologies used in EPC workflows
