FLEET AND FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER DIRECTOR

Responsibilities
You will determine Counseling and Advocacy Service program requirements and resources to provide input for budget formulations
You will conduct program planning meetings with staff to consolidate, integrate, and coordinate efforts to enhance social service delivery to customers
You will analyze methods and assessment criteria applicable to special study or research processes
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting social/human services delivery systems and concepts, principles and theories relating to one or more of the social or behavioral science fields education, or any field which furnishes the applicant with knowledge, skills and ability to perform the job is desired; 2) Developing Navy/military organization, mission, and lifestyle; 3) Developing management techniques to direct complex and simultaneous programs; 4) Communicating verbally and in writing and /or the ability to create professional papers and documents; 5) Providing a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative assessment methods
Have successfully completed a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled
Have a combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field
Have four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field
