Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position based in Orlando, FL supporting the ATWS Program portfolio. The Quality professional will be responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of key suppliers, continuous improvement, talent development, training and knowledge continuity.

Responsibilities

Develop/execute supplier strategy in partnership with the ATWS GSC team

Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified

Support the Supplier Integrated Product Teams and partner with the various production sites/centers with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non-conformance aging

Analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex

Lead the Supplier Quality team in program corrective action meetings, identifying trends, assist in problem resolution and ensure responsible parties meet commitments

Coordinate and/or perform assessments and audits on processes and procedures of supply base to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001/AS9100

Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs

Interface with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issues

Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

Participate (as required) in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities

Required

Manufacturing experience / knowledge developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products

Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting

Motivated and analytical professional who is passionate about driving excellence in Quality

Preferred

STEM degree at bachelors' level or higher preferred

A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P) business systems

ASQ Certification(s) and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)

Advanced AS9100, AS9102, AS9145 Interpretation and application experience

Experienced in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE)

Ability to implement strategy and meet performance goals / objectives
