Assistant Fisher House Manager NF-03

Responsibilities
The incumbent provides support to the Fisher House Manager and acts as the housing manager in their absence
Provides direct, on site management and administration of facilities and evaluates established programs and administrative procedures
Participates in the development, execution, review and analysis of the Fisher Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Budget
Under the Fisher House Manager's direction, implements new procedures, regulations and guidelines concerning house operations
Participates in coordinating and supervising volunteers and contract employees, such as housekeepers, repairmen, landscapers, etc
Qualification
Required
Two years of work experience, either paid or volunteer, that demonstrates an understanding of at least one of the following areas: facility operations and maintenance; financial management; supervision of housekeeping and other maintenance staff; recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers; guest relations; and marketing
A two-year hospitality related associated degree or certification as CLM (Certified Lodging Manager) may be substituted for the two years of work experience

Ability to work occasional Saturdays for special events (IF REQUIRED BY MANAGEMENT)
A successful background investigation submission to the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) must be met no later than 30 calendar days after entry on duty or placement in the position for internal candidates
Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability determination
