This role is critical in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting field personnel through audits and training.

Responsibilities
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture on active project sites with 100+ employees
Work closely with the Director of Safety and on-site leadership to implement safety processes and initiatives
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety regulations
Conduct regular jobsite audits to verify compliance and reinforce safety expectations
Serve as a servant-leader and trusted safety resource for all personnel
Maintain accurate safety records for site personnel
Coordinate with internal departments to manage safety equipment and supplies
Ensure safety binders, permit packets, and policies are current, complete, and accessible
Maintain records and oversee inspection/maintenance of gas monitoring equipment
Ensure all new-hire and annual safety training is completed and properly documented
Assist with industrial hygiene testing, safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and hands-on field training
Mentor and support field personnel on safety best practices
Maintain regular and predictable attendance and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
Strong working knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety regulations
Understanding of workers' compensation, emergency response procedures, first aid, CPR, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred
Petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial construction experience or interest
