NC Programmer

Beacon Industries is a privately held CNC machine shop located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. They are seeking a CNC Programmer to develop and modify CNC programs for 3- and 5-axis machines, ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities

Develop CNC programs for production and FAI runs
Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates
Modify existing programs for different machines
Maintain tooling database
Produce and Maintain Setup Instructions for CNC Programs
Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process

Qualification

CNC Programming3-5-axis CNC MachinesCatia V5VericutICAM3D modelingBasic math skillsBasic MS Office skillsEnglish

Required

High school diploma or GED certificate
Must be authorized to work in US
Experience programming 3- and 5-axis CNC Machines
Familiarity with Catia, Vericut, and ICAM post processing
Experience producing 3D models from 2D drawings
Basic math skills
Basic MS Office skills
CNC Programming: 1 year (Required)
English (Required)

Preferred

Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus
