Leidos is seeking an entry-level Production Technician to join their growing team. The role involves assembling and installing components and cables based on technical drawings, as well as assisting in IT rack builds and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install components, cables, and hardware based on technical drawings and work instructions
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation
Build, route, and terminate cables (RF, Ethernet, and signal) per required specifications
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools in the assembly and installation of equipment
Assist in building and installing IT racks and related assemblies
Perform basic quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company and industry standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to work with hand and power tools
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance in the future
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods

Preferred

Previous experience building cables (RF, Ethernet, signal)
Experience assembling IT racks or similar equipment
Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
