Responsibilities

Review and prepare vouchers for certification, verifying funding accuracy against approved spend plans
Perform budget execution support, including monitoring spending rates, obligations, commitments, and expenditures
Provide budgetary guidance and analysis to customers, identifying deviations from planned spending and recommending corrective actions
Monitor OGA funding transfers and financial activity within the assigned area
Interpret and apply finance policies, Sponsor authorities, and office procedures to resolve moderately complex budgetary issues
Serve as the first level of review for policy interpretation questions involving customers
Originate and maintain budgetary data in Sponsor financial systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance
Assist management in developing budget policies, procedures, and resource plans
Support budget formulation activities, including resource displays and submission preparation
Prepare and maintain budget execution reports and analysis for senior leadership
Support implementation of operating guidance, including Congressional marks and management decisions

Required

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, budget execution, contract management, or program/project management
Strong understanding of budget execution and fiscal controls
Knowledge of business resource planning and federal budgeting practices
Experience using automated financial systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain budget topics to non-financial stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment and work independently or as part of a team

Preferred

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (business, finance, or related field preferred)
