Mead Lumber Company is a leading provider of products for professional contractors, builders, and remodelers. As an Inside Sales Associate - Building, you will support Outside Sales Representatives by assisting with sales duties related to hardware, building materials, and lumber.

Responsibilities

Full-time, in-person job assisting contractor salesman with daily tasks
Develop a working knowledge of company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy
Process receiving documents and match up invoices for payments in a timely and accurate manner
Answer telephone professionally and pleasantly
Listen to and assist customers
Assist with delivery of merchandise, if needed

Qualification

Required

High School diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Ability to multitask and be detail oriented
Physical ability to lift and carry 80 pounds

Ability to form strong professional relationships with customers
Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally
Friendly outgoing personality that enjoys working with people
Positive, punctual, and energetic attitude
Strong verbal skills
Organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Previous construction or sales experience
Ability to operate office equipment and excel experience
