Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assisting attorneys with day-to-day administration of their cases
Typical tasks include maintaining legal files on an electronic document management system, staying on top of case deadlines and calendaring of deadlines and tasks, preparing "shell" documents for pleadings and discovery, coordinating service of process, booking court reporters and locations for depositions, preparing case notebooks, communicating with court personnel and clients, and similar litigation support tasks
Qualification
Required
1-3 years Experience as a legal secretary or executive assistant
Ability to multi task and support multiple attorneys
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, including running of case authority tables, formatting, and styles
Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn e-filing procedures and electronic management systems.(Box.com)
Attention to detail
Experience supporting attorneys who litigate in Texas state and federal courts
Must be located in commutable distance to Dallas, TX
