Cardinal Glass Industries is seeking a Human Resources Intern for the Spring and Summer of 2026. The intern will assist in talent acquisition efforts, provide administrative support to the HR department, and help with employee recognition programs and company events.

Responsibilities

Assists in all talent acquisition efforts; prepare job postings, conducting phone screens and interviews, coordinating offers, and assisting with new hire orientation

Providing general administrative support to the HR department, such as filing, data entry, or organizing documents

Assist with employee recognition programs

Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Human Resources department and other management staff

Perform people related administration related to time and attendance system and absence reporting system

Greets and directs visitors, resolves routine administrative problems, and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations

Support with all company events, including plant lunches, recruiting events, community engagement, and other company meetings

Other activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned

Maintain a clean, organized work environment

Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allows

Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Must be entering Junior or Senior year of college and pursuing a degree in Human Resources management or related field

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent verbal communication

Excellent written communication including grammatical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Must be able appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information and exercise discretion

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

Exercise good judgment in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the SBLG team, Cardinal Glass Industries, and other company relationships
