Cable Technician I (Onsite: Ross, ND)

The Cable Technician I will perform basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment under direct supervision.

Responsibilities
Receives cable and carries out basic tests
Performs basic repairs and learns how to splice cable
Completes paperwork to send cable to inventory or field
This is an entry level position where the employee is expected to learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application into his/her duties
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required
Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required
Ability to operate a Forklift and Skid Steer
Mechanically inclined
Ability to use hand tools and verity of testers I.E VLF, multimeters
Preferred
Basic computer skills
