Responsibilities

Support complex manufacturing engineering tasks involving multiple interrelated processes and systems
Apply engineering principles to analyze manufacturing issues and recommend effective technical solutions
Assist in anticipating potential manufacturing challenges and contribute to proactive issue resolution
Participate in peer reviews related to task approach, verification, and validation activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with manufacturing objectives and operational requirements
Contribute to the application of new methods, tools, or approaches where standard solutions may not exist
Support documentation, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringMedical Device ManufacturingAutomation SystemsTechnical Problem-SolvingCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related manufacturing discipline
Experience or exposure to medical device manufacturing and or automation systems through internships, co-op programs, or academic projects
Understanding of manufacturing operations, technical problem-solving, and engineering fundamentals
Ability to think creatively and contribute solutions in situations with limited precedent
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Preferred

Mechanical Engineering degree
Internship or academic project experience in regulated manufacturing environments
Exposure to verification and validation activities
Familiarity with automation equipment, manufacturing systems, or process engineering concepts
