Responsibilities
Conduct fair, thorough, and well-documented investigations into employee concerns, complaints, and workplace conduct issues
Compile findings and prepare clear summaries and recommendations to support appropriate resolution
Advise leaders and employees on employee relations matters, workplace policies, and best practices
Facilitate discussions and mediate workplace conflicts to promote positive outcomes
Ensure adherence to applicable employment laws and internal policies at the federal, state, and local levels
Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
Contribute to employee relations initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and engagement
Support broader HR projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent
Availability to work up to 29 hours per week
Working knowledge of employment laws and workplace regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to conduct objective, unbiased investigations
Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
High standards of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Preferred
1+ year of experience in employee relations, HR investigations, or a related HR role
