They are seeking entry-level Field Technicians who will receive training to perform materials testing and gain hands-on experience in both field and lab environments.

Responsibilities
Perform material testing of soils, aggregates, asphalt concrete and concrete at the time of placement on an active construction site
Interpret specifications and working drawings
Field inspection, testing, sampling, equipment, and equipment maintenance on assigned project
Obtain and record field data, in a legible and organized fashion; as required by the plans, specifications, or project staff. Generate and compile field reports
Record daily installed construction quantities
Speak with team members on a construction site, including the contractor and owner’s representatives
Communicate with all entities keeping everyone fully informed
Maintain equipment as required
Understand and follow the public health and safety requirements and the proper safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or equivalent
Ability to verbally communicate and relay accurate information
Computer skills required
Must have attention to detail
Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs
Ability to travel throughout Ohio
Preferred
ACI Concrete Field Testing
Nuclear Densometer Safety
OSHA 10-hour Safety
