Commercial Lines - Account Executive
M.E. Wilson Company is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join their Commercial Lines Department. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service to clients by managing their insurance and risk management needs, requiring a strong background in commercial property and casualty insurance and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a diverse group of clients and colleagues to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Partner with producers to service an assigned book of business, handling day-to-day servicing such as policy change requests, audits, reconciliations, certificates of insurance, evidences of property insurance, mod projections via Mod Master, renewals, client proposals, and invoicing
Maintain accurate documentation of all client transactions and communications using M.E. Wilson’s agency and document management systems
Prepare and present client and carrier-facing documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
Develop an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic priorities, and risk management needs to make informed coverage recommendations
Work on new business accounts independently or in collaboration with marketing staff
Foster and maintain positive relationships with carrier contacts and underwriters
Adhere to agency workflows and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
Attend and actively participate in client and carrier meetings, both virtually and in-person, as required
Facilitate client claims reporting and servicing as needed
Service loss-sensitive and captive insurance programs
Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s objectives
Qualification
Required
Strong technical knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and the ability to learn new software quickly
Ability to work a full-time schedule at M.E. Wilson facilities and travel for business as needed
Must hold a 220 Agent License in the State of Florida (or equivalent in state of residency)
Minimum of 3+ years of experience handling mid-to-large commercial P&C insurance clients
Preferred
College degree preferred
Professional designation such as AAI, CIC, CRIS, CPCU is a plus or willingness to obtain
