New Grad, Entry LevelBen Martin Law Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to provide legal research and analytical support for a law book currently in development. The role involves conducting legal research, summarizing authorities, and assisting with writing and citation support for the manuscript.

Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth legal research using primary and secondary sources (cases, statutes, regulations, law review articles, treatises)
Summarize and synthesize legal authorities clearly and accurately
Assist with outlining and issue-spotting for book chapters
Verify citations and support footnote accuracy (e.g., Bluebook compliance, as applicable)
Track developments in relevant areas of law and flag emerging issues
Provide general research and writing support as the manuscript evolves
Qualification
Required
Current JD candidate (preferred 2L/3L), JD graduate, or licensed attorney
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor
Familiarity with LexisNexis, or similar research platforms
Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines
Genuine interest in legal theory, doctrine, or the subject matter of the book
Preferred
Law review or journal experience
Prior research assistant or judicial clerkship experience
Experience supporting academic or long-form legal writing
