Engineer Systems Sentinel - Level 2
Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements, and they are seeking a Systems Engineer - Level 2 to join their team in Chandler, AZ. The role involves developing and documenting system requirements and ensuring the system architecture is captured accurately, while collaborating with other engineers to support the Sentinel program.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the development, decomposition, refinement and documentation of system, subsystem and component requirements and capabilities to support the Sentinel program. This includes ensuring the system architecture is captured in CAMEO and corresponding requirements are captured in DOORS (and that the two are consistent)
The Sentinel Principal MBSE Engineer is directly responsible for supporting the overall System-level development effort including integration of subsystem elements into the overall System-level design architecture and related formal deliverables to the customer
The Sentinel Principal MBSE Engineer is directly responsible for supporting overall System-level end to end performance assessments of the Sentinel system and identifying and leading the resolution of systems performance gaps relative to stakeholder requirements
Collaboration with senior systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the Sentinel deliverables
Lead small ad-hoc teams in the execution of tasking per the Integrated Master Schedule
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 0 years of related engineering experience
Requirements Decomposition experience
Experience with MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler
MBSE Experience
DOORS or other requirements Management Experience
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel
Demonstrated experience in requirements decomposition, validation and verification
Must have ability to obtain DoD Government Secret Clearance
Preferred
OMG-Certified SysML Professional (OCSMP) Level 1 & 2 Certification
Experience with Teamwork Cloud (TWC) and Branch Management of project within TWC
Missile Defense or Command and Control Experience
Mechanical Engineering exposure - ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and analyses
Electrical Engineering exposure - ability to read and understand electrical schematics and analyses
Thrust Vector Controller or Actuator experience
Solid Rocket Motor experience
Supplier Management experience
Control Account Manager experience
