Responsibilities
Partner with Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to analyze, understand, and enhance employee productivity and end-user effectiveness, with a strong focus on improving the overall customer experience
Requirements Gathering: Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues
Business Process Modeling: Create business process models using best practice techniques, including current and future state solution design documents based on the requirements gathered. Regularly evaluate and identify areas for improvement or automation
Business acumen - Demonstrate strong business acumen and possess in-depth knowledge of the “Function” domain
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specs, user manuals, and JIRA stories
System Enhancements: Define and implement system enhancements that align with business goals, advising on best practices and recommending process improvements to ensure scalability and efficiency
Solution Design: Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs, including system specifications and workflows
Testing Plans: Develop test cases and conduct unit and integration testing to ensure that systems meet specified requirements and function correctly
Training Materials: Develop, deliver, and present end-user training materials to Salesforce users throughout the organization
Issue Resolution: Research production system issues, resolve user problems, and escalate issues when necessary
Backlog Management: Help manage the backlog of production issues and enhancement requests. Work with the product manager to ensure that proper prioritization of these enhancements is determined
Application Configuration: Perform application configuration activities primarily in Salesforce and other supporting Force.com applications
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, facilitating communications and ensuring alignment on project goals
Continuous Improvement – Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance business efficiency
Qualification
Required
6-10 years of work experience as a business analyst, or related role
Practical experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle Fusion OCI, Oracle Reporting and Integration
Proficiency in Oracle Fusion system administration, including user management, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce environments, as well as prior experience working with related systems
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills
Preferred
Experience working in a mix of agile and waterfall project management methodologies is preferred
Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Oracle Fusion, Java, BitBucket, and Git. Experience in creating and executing unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans is preferred
Familiarity with business operations processes and practices is a plus
Experience in the healthcare industry is also considered beneficial
