Responsibilities

Own the enterprise-wide pipeline prioritization framework

Ensure operations (UW, AM, QC, Closing) are aligned daily around value-based execution

Drive consistent adoption of data-driven waterfall prioritization

Serve as the UW executive owner of AURA deployment and adoption

Define:

Use cases

Decision thresholds

Human vs. system escalation paths

Ensure AURA outputs are:

Trusted by underwriters

Operationalized in workflow

Measurable in impact

Centralize all data for credit, pricing, valuation, and policy exceptions

Aggregate exception data to:

Identify systemic bottlenecks

Inform guideline evolution

Improve future exception process and volume

Improve credit intelligence

Drive down cost per loan without sacrificing credit quality

Establish optimal mix of:

Onshore underwriters

Offshore / nearshore teams

Third-party vendors

Define:

File segmentation rules

Quality thresholds

Productivity benchmarks

Own vendor performance, QC drift, and accuracy metrics

Full P&L-style and process accountability for offshore / vendor underwriting

Own:

Capacity modeling

Training & certification standards

Quality and SLA enforcement

Integration with domestic teams

Ensure offshore teams are treated as extensions of the firm, not a black box

Build and own the operational data layer for execution

Ensure real-time visibility into:

Pipeline value

Bottlenecks

Exception trends

Cost drivers

Partner with Sales, Credit, Capital Markets, and Technology on:

Growth readiness

Product scalability

Future-state workflows
