Responsibilities
Lead core service components like recommendation engines, ensuring reliability and scalability with a Node.js codebase
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, data science, and product to deliver user-centric solutions
Own end-to-end development processes, from architecture to deployment, following CI/CD best practices
Optimize performance across databases like Postgres, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch
Qualification
Required
6+ years of software development experience, including leadership in scalable system design
BS/MS in related technical field (Professional Experience can serve as substitute for non-engineering backgrounds)
Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, Golang, or TypeScript
Experience with modern search technologies (e.g., OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Vector DBs)
Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
