AVP, Government Banking Officer

Solicits banking relationships from prospective municipalities with a focus on core deposit products and services
Serves as the primary relationship manager for assigned municipal customers to maintain and expand deposit relationships
Promotes the Bank’s visibility and brand by attending various networking events and actively participating in Treasurer, Collector, and Finance Officer association meetings to build relationships with customers and prospects
Remains abreast of Federal, State and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the position; complies with laws, regulations and Bank policies and procedures
Works closely with internal partners to ensure the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers
Actively participates in other Bank committees as requested
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested

Required

Responsible for maintaining and increasing Government Banking deposit accounts and services
Focus on identifying, developing, and growing business relationships between municipalities and the Bank
Extensive travel to and from customer sites across the state
Solicits banking relationships from prospective municipalities with a focus on core deposit products and services
Serves as the primary relationship manager for assigned municipal customers to maintain and expand deposit relationships
Promotes the Bank's visibility and brand by attending various networking events and actively participating in Treasurer, Collector, and Finance Officer association meetings
Remains abreast of Federal, State and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the position
Complies with laws, regulations and Bank policies and procedures
Works closely with internal partners to ensure the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers
Actively participates in other Bank committees as requested
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested
Ability to sit and talk or hear, reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
Travel to and from customer sites, approximately 75% of the time
